  Chose Reinforced Concrete Inc. to tear up and poor a new floor for my garage. Garage was not original to the house and built overtop the existing asphalt driveway, which was lifting and crumbling. What was original to the house was a basement exit with stairs that took up a lot of space and made it such that the garage was not wide enough to fit a car. A previous owner had MacGyver’d a strong but sketchy solution to this problem by inserting a steel I-beam over the stairs and bolt steel plates overtop to make a wide-enough surface to drive a car over the void below.

Shan and his team built a new wall to reduce the space around the basement exit (sufficiently large for an egress ladder), and back-fill the void where the stairs used to be, before then pouring a floor and creating a small curb around area for the basement exist to prevent things from slipping in. Before pouring, they made sure the walls of the garage were sufficiently supported underneath. Once the team started on the project, they were done in 3 days back to back. The cost was not insignificant but reasonable/fair given the additional complexity caused by the basement exit and the size of the garage. Very professional team, and they cleaned-up the site well after each day. Very pleased with the outcome and the process and a great first step to renovating the garage. Would recommend.

  I am so very pleased with the finished product. Sean came up with great design ideas for my front patio and front steps.  The timing of digging the foundation, to pouring cement was seamless. And the final finishing touches on the project were done in good time - railings and exposed concrete finish.
